The following are patients had been diagnosed with Infertility and Infertility related disorders, including Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovaries, Hormonal Imbalance, Low responders, Low sperm quality, quantity and morphology, Unexplained, Immune imbalances, Chronic Miscarriages, Failed IVFs, etc… These patients received ONLY wholistic medicine, including Acupuncture to help them conceive.

Nourishing Women patients have achieved an average of 44% - 83% conception rates for the above category patients receiving only Acupuncture and wholistic medicine for conception. Treatments received varied from 2 weeks to over 12 months.

My husband and I have been married for 11 years and have struggled with infertility our entire marriage. In the first 6 years, we did not worry to much about not getting pregnant. We were very young and just assumed it would happen in time. At the end of six years in December 2002, we became pregnant spontaneously and were very excited and nervous. Unfortunately, 7 weeks into the pregnancy I miscarried. We were devastated, but figured we could try again soon. Three months later we began trying again and we could not become pregnant. After trying to become pregnant naturally for 2 years, I decided to ask my OB/GYN for help. So in September 2004, my doctor began to run tests and found that I had polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and my husband's fertility seemed completely normal. I stopped all treatment and my husband and I regrouped. In late January 2005, we decided to go to a fertility clinic. The doctor suggested we do in vitro with ICSI. I began the protocol and was soon taking 2-3 shots of medication a day while seeing the doctor almost every other day to check the development of eggs. When the time came, 29 eggs were retrieved and 13 were viable. They were all fertilized, but only 3 grew to a size that could be placed in the uterus. The eggs were placed into the uterus and 2 weeks later we found out we had not conceived. We were so devastated and financially drained. We decided to stop all treatment for a while. In December 2005, I stumbled upon a website called Nourishing Women. At this point, I wanted to try natural remedies for my PCOS. I called Dr Murciano and had an appoin tment within a few days. I explained all my problems and she told me they could all be worked on and with time go away completely. I began acupuncture twice a week and took all the herbal supplements recommended. I began to not only feel better emotionally, but I also began to ovulate normally and have regular periods each month. I was getting better with each treatment. Amazingly, in September 2006 I found out I was pregnant. We were so excited and also very nervous. We hoped this pregnancy would survive. It is now February 2007 and we are 23 weeks pregnant with a girl. I still continue my treatments with Dr Murciano and plan to continue post partum as well. A couple of years ago at the age of 34, I was told that I had the FSH values of a women in her 40's, this condition is called premature ovarian failure. In the past, I have had FSH values of 14.7, 7.8, and most recently a 9.1 in October of 2005. ( A woman who is 35 is supposed to have an FSH of 7 or lower.) Last October, my reproductive endocrinologist wanted me to do an IVF cycle right away, warning me that if my FSH got too high, that he would not be able to help me. My husband and I preferred to do the cycle about 5 months later but were concerned that my FSH might get too high if we waited, and there is no solution in western medicine to treat high FSH.
